Here at Katherine South Primary School we offer a music program through NT Music School, as this is run by a department outside of our school your child will need to complete an enrolment form and pay a fee for your child to participate.   

The Nt Music School’s moto is “Everyone Can Play.” 

Their mission is to provide NT Government School Students the opportunity to participate in music education through engaging, practical music programs in schools with skilled teachers, ensemble experiences, school support programs and performance opportunities.  

Their values are: Engage, Improve, Celebrate, Together.  

Lessons are offered during school hours to students in Yr 4, 5 and 6, these lessons run for 30mins once a week with a specialised music teacher. Lessons offered in Guitar Ensemble, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone and Percussion.  

Lessons are free with a $100 contribution requested once your child is placed in the program. Instrument hire and be arranged through Musicorp Australia.  

Enrolments are now open for 2024 (new and existing students), applications close 1st December 2023.
